Mardi Himal Trek -Winter and Spring 2016 - 9 Days
The Mardi Himal trek is an unbeaten trek to the Mardi Himal (5,555 m) in the Annapurna region. This trek is the exploration of the peaks lying in a Midwestern region of the county. The southwesterly lower slope of Machhapuchhre is the recognized as Mardi Himal.A triangular shaped, Machhapuchhre is also named as the “Fishtail” (6988 m). Mardi Himal peak lies approximately 20 km in distance from the Pokhara valley, east to the Modi Khola .
This trek starts from the Mardi pool and ends at the Ghachok. Passing the through the banks of the Mardi Khola and forests of bamboo, rhododendron, oak, ethnic villages, the trail ascend to the high alpine lands.
